This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, horizon scanning scientist to lead the Sustainable Soil Nutrient Management Programme in AFBI. This post will lead research aimed atoptimising the efficiency of soil, manure and fertiliser nutrients for crop production whilst minimising losses to water and air, making use of ‘state-of-the-art’ technologies. The post holder will have the opportunity to link withthe existing Soil Nutrient Health Scheme which is one of the most comprehensive regional soil nutrient sampling schemes to be undertaken anywhere in the world.
