Director of Rehabilitation and Reducing Reoffending, Grade 5

SALARY: £68,961 - £79,058 (under review)

LOCATION: Stormont Estate, Belfast

The post of Director of Rehabilitation and Reducing Reoffending was created in 2013 as a result of a specific recommendation made by the Prison Review Team. The post provides an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to society in the delivery of criminal justice in Northern Ireland.  The post-holder will have responsibility for developing and coordinating a significant Justice Programme for Government commitment and in doing so will be required to work closely with a range of public, private, voluntary and community sectors. 

This post may be filled by secondment of the successful candidate from his/her current employer. 

Further appointments may be made from this competition should NICS positions become vacant which have similar duties and responsibilities.
