Chief Executive, Grade 3

SALARY: £88,596 to £101,092 (under review)

LOCATION: Lanyon Plaza, 7 Lanyon Place, Belfast

This is an important and challenging post. The opportunity to apply occurs at a period of significant change within LPS, as the organisation is implementing its business strategy known as LPS 2020. 

LPS provides a range of integrated land and property services for a diverse range of customer and key stakeholders across both the public and private sectors. LPS’s key services include the collection and recovery of rates, Valuation services, Ordnance Survey and Mapping services, and Land Registration. Supported by LPS’s Digital Services and Transformation & Organisational Development directorates, these services play a critical role in supporting the government and contribute to the economic development of Northern Ireland. 

The successful candidate, who will also be a member of the DoF Departmental Board, will set the strategic direction for this front line and multi-disciplinary organisation to deliver critical business targets and optimize revenue through its land and property resources.  He/she will be also be responsible for delivering a major transformation programme that will provide a first class service to customers using Northern Ireland land and property data and modern digital channels. 

This post may be filled by secondment of the successful candidate from their current employer.  

A merit list will be compiled but will only be used should this post become vacant again in the lifetime of the competition which is for one year.
