Medicines Enforcement Officer

DEPARTMENT: Department of Health (DOH)

SALARY: £29,317 - £31,446 (under review)

LOCATION: Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate

The Medicines Enforcement Officer will be part of the Medicines Regulatory Group (MRG) within the Pharmaceutical Directorate and will have specialist responsibilities in regard to ensuring compliance with medicines legislation in both human and veterinary fields.  In particular, the post holder will be required to undertake the conduct of investigations into alleged or suspected illegal activity including unauthorised possession, sale or supply of medicines. 

There is currently 1 full time permanent post. 

Further full time or part time appointments may be made from this competition should NICS positions become vacant which have similar duties and responsibilities.
