SALARY: £56,252 - £63,346

LOCATION: AFBI Newforge, 18a Newforge Lane, Belfast, BT9 5PX

This position offers a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative scientist to lead significant agri-environment research programmes within the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI).  The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic development of AFBI and play a critical role in advancing the organisation and in the development and implementation of scientific strategies, plans and systems to ensure an efficient and robust base into the future.  You will demonstrate strong leadership and change management skills and deliver results which will contribute to the success of the agri-food industry in Northern Ireland and beyond.

Further appointments may be made from this competition should AFBI positions become vacant which have similar duties and responsibilities.
