10/08/2020

Apply now for an information technology apprenticeship in NICS

The Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) is one of the participating organisations employing ICT apprentices via the Belfast Met IT Apprenticeship programme. We will be accepting applications in September from candidates who apply through www.belfastmet.ac.uk/ICTApprentice and successfully obtain the appropriate standard in the ICT aptitude test.

NICS ICT Apprentices will begin their rewarding ICT careers through helping people, problem solving and developing innovative solutions to support the delivery of improved public services.

Working four days a week in one of the participating NICS Departments and attending college one day a week during the academic year, our apprentices gain a level 3 qualification in Networking Infrastructure or Software Development.

Earn as you learn with a starting salary of £15,540, rising to £23,492* on completion which includes a promotion (normally after 2 years and subject to satisfactory performance, attendance etc.* under review).

If you are a career minded individual who is keen to develop your ICT skills, learn on the job and gain technology focused qualifications, apply now for a permanent apprenticeship - we have more opportunities than ever!
