Welcome

This is a great opportunity to work in roles that are both demanding and rewarding.

Whether you are directly serving our customers, assessing benefits claims, processing other types of applications, providing administrative support to teams, or delivering services or projects across the NICS, you will be part of an organisation that touches the lives of citizens in NI and across the UK every day.

Training will be made available to successful candidates on appointment.

We have around 300 vacancies, but may make more appointments from this recruitment exercise should further vacancies arise.

Latest Updates

On review of the issues relating to the progression of this competition, in particular restrictions around social distancing, NICS has decided not to progress interviews and to use candidates’ test scores to make appointments. The appointment process will therefore progress for candidates who passed the verification process, using their merit position following their online test. This means that candidates will not have to complete an interview and interviews that were completed by any candidates have been annulled and do not form part of the selection process.

HRConnect will commence the relevant ID checks and security clearances for the top 500 candidates shortly to meet initial NICS resourcing needs. If you receive a request for documentation from us please ensure that this is submitted promptly, to avoid any delays in processing your application. As and when further vacancies arise more candidates may be brought forward for appointment.
