The Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) is one of the largest employers here and our OHS plays a vital role in keeping our people well at work. The services provided help to manage any risks in the workplace that are likely to give rise to work-related ill health.
The OHS is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nursing staff and technicians who are assisted by a business support team. We provide comprehensive occupational health and medical advisory services to NICS departments and a number of other public bodies, ensuring that we are responsive to existing and emerging occupational health needs.
This includes providing medical advice on a range of workplace health related issues, health promotion, health protection activities and input to policy and procedure development.
It’s an exciting time to join our team and we are currently recruiting for the following roles:
• Medical Officer (2 posts)
• Senior Occupational Health Nurse (2 posts)
• Senior Occupational Health Technician (1 post)
• Occupational Health Technician (2 posts)
